Text Messaging Terms
Effective September 23, 2026
These terms cover text messages (SMS) sent by Gymnastics of York Shrewsbury, Inc, which operates Shrewsbury Gymnastics and Manchester Gymnastics ("we", "us"). By opting in to our texts you accept these terms.
Program description
Shrewsbury & Manchester Gymnastics family texts. We text parents and guardians of our students about classes, schedule changes and closures, their account and invoices, and messages from our office about their family. We do not send marketing or promotional texts. Texts from Shrewsbury Gymnastics come from (717) 837-5165 and texts from Manchester Gymnastics come from (717) 619-8128. Every text starts with the gym's name.
How you opt in
Texting is always optional. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of enrolling in any class or purchasing anything from us.
- On our sign-up form. Below the parent phone numbers on our online class sign-up form there is one optional checkbox, unchecked by default: "(Optional) Yes, text me at the phone number(s) above with class updates, closures and account notices from Shrewsbury Gymnastics [or Manchester Gymnastics]. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." The form works the same when the box is left unchecked.
- On our opt-in page. We may email current families a personal link to a page that lists the family's phone numbers, each with its own unchecked checkbox and the wording "Yes, text me class updates, closures and account notices from Shrewsbury Gymnastics [or Manchester Gymnastics]." Only the numbers you check are opted in.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies, typically a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's plan.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any text from us and you will be unsubscribed; you will receive one final message confirming it. Reply START to opt back in. You can also ask the office to stop texting your number.

Your information
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do.
