Privacy Policy

Gymnastics of York Shrewsbury, Inc operates Shrewsbury Gymnastics and Manchester Gymnastics ("we", "us"), our websites, our class-management system and Parent Portal (MyClassManager), and our phone lines. This policy explains what personal information we collect from the families we serve, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Contact and enrollment details you give us when you sign up for a trial, enroll a child, book a birthday party or private lesson, or contact the office: names, email address, phone numbers, mailing address, your child's name and date of birth, and emergency and medical information you choose to provide.
- Account and payment records such as class enrollments, attendance, invoices and payment history. Card payments are processed by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Text-message consent. If you agree to receive text messages, we record the phone number, the exact consent wording you agreed to, and when and how you agreed.
- Phone calls. Calls to our office lines may be answered by an automated receptionist and may be recorded and transcribed. You are told at the start of the call when it is being recorded.
- Website usage such as pages visited and the device and browser used, collected through standard server logs.
How we use it
- To run our classes and programs: scheduling, enrollment, attendance, make-ups, billing and receipts.
- To communicate with you about your child's classes, schedule changes, closures, invoices and account matters by email, phone, or text message if you opted in to texts.
- To send gym news by email (every newsletter has an unsubscribe link).
- To keep our families and staff safe and to meet our legal and insurance obligations.
Text messaging (SMS)
We text you only if you opted in, for example by checking the optional text-message box on our sign-up form or on the opt-in page we email to families. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except with the text-message delivery provider that sends our messages for us. Message frequency varies. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only for that purpose: our class-management and billing system, our payment processor, our email and text-message delivery providers, and the provider of our automated phone receptionist. These providers may use the information only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety of a child, our families or our staff, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business. We never sell personal information.
Children
Our programs are for children, but our websites, enrollment and messaging are directed to parents and guardians. We collect children's information only from a parent or guardian and only as needed to provide our programs.
Your choices
- You may review your family's details in the Parent Portal and ask the office to update them.
- You may stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link.
- You may ask us to delete information we no longer need to provide services or keep for legal, safety or accounting reasons.
Security and retention
We protect personal information with access controls, encrypted connections and reputable service providers. We keep enrollment and financial records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting requirements.
